Why Your Indoor Plants Have Their Leaves Falling?

Published by Maggie on

Most plants discharge their leaves the first day when you bring them home. It happens because of their adaptation to the new environment. So, do not panic and do not start with their trimming. You should not even water them too much. The plant needs some rest and a good acclimatization.

Be sure to place your plant on the bright side in your home. Check the humidity level and try to provide the required temperature. Most plants don’t like the lower room temperatures. If you are careful with these details, for a period of 2-4 weeks new leaves will grow.

At that point you can start watering again, but beware of overwatering. Too much water in the pot can lead to rotting of the roots and quickly wilting of leaves and later death of the plant.

Also, low humidity and irregular watering can contribute to the leaves falling out. Various insects can attack the plant, so we recommend using herbicides. Note that all the plants lose the old leaves  in their own way and later start developing new ones.
