Plants are amazing. After reading this you will think that they are even more wonderful. In fact, did you know that plants in the apartment absorb harmful radiation emitted by televisions, but they also absorb or eliminate the harmful smells emitted by lacquers, diluents or cleansers.

The most popular plants that have such properties are ficus, ferns, dracaena, but cacti also. Experts advise one plant per nine square meters of space.

Dracaena

Besides being beautiful, the dracaena is easy to maintain and highly resistant to temperature variations. It needs light but not direct sunlight, and you should never place somewhere drafty. Spray this plant with water regularly, and it will thrive perfectly. As an air purifier it is indispensable because it reduces the concentration of formaldehyde, it reduces the components of cleaning agents, lacquers, thinners, and deodorant sprays.

Ficus

Ficus neutralizes tobacco smoke, reduces the concentration of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and triethylene, a chemical that is found in paints and varnishes. It needs light, but not exaggerated. It doesn’t appreciate draft.

Fern

This plant reduces the concentration of formaldehyde from setting, glue, color, detergents, fabric and curtains. It requires enough moisture. Do not expose it directly to sunlight.

Bamboo Palm

The bamboo palm, also known as the red- palm, is the best when it comes to filtering out benzene and trichloroethylene. You can place this plant in a shady place in your home and expect it to produce some flowers and little berries.
